2004 Dalet School Science Fair

On Wednesday afternoon, March 10, inside the Dalet High School building, the Science Fair began.  Each high school student had his or her own unique project.  Every class in elementary school has its own project.  Aharon Gregory, a junior high student, demonstrated how a volcano erupts.  Showing the visitors how a windmill operates, Sophia Meyer used a wooden model and a fan.  Kemuel Polydore made a fast, battery-operated car.  Explaining to everyone how her homemade fire extinguisher works, Binayah Shaparenko put out a small fire.

The fifth grade class had a model of a roller coaster.  Powered by an inflated balloon, the first graders made a boat out of an orange juice carton.  The physics class made a hydrogen fuel cell-solar car.  Anyone would enjoy the annual Dalet School Science Fair.  All the Dalet School students and their parents look forward to this event every year.  Students have to do a lot of planning and preparation prior to the science fair.
